RE: HD Hookup
If you are using a 3 LNB dish you are missing about 85% of the total HD stations available. Not sure if you know that or not. What type of antenna gets all available stations. I thought the three head was it, Thanks for any info. Marv

I have run my 4 door Norcold for 6 years with a 1000 watt inverter. Thus no propane on while on the road.

I suggest you take it off and determine what is leaking. If it is the plastic fitting they are a replacement item at nearly any RV supply. You could use a mirror and see where the spray is comming from.

Check the price of a replacement. You may find that it is less expensive to replace than repair. Labor rates are very high, and you still have an old unit after it is repaired.

I put a bolt in the bottom of my 02 W-22 there was less than 1/8" clearence between the blade and shroud. Check the IRV2 forum there may be some info for a relacement fan at a resonable price.

Saw an old Mexican man in San Filepe get stuck. He didn't let it dig in. Got a jug of water from the trunk, sloshed it in front of the rear tires and drove away. Course we all know that wouldn't work, unless I saw him do it.

Take the old one with you. You will save yourself a trip to return and get the correct one. Note the voice of experience. Most any RV supply store will stock them.

RE: Black tank odor
The direction of the wind over the vent can cause a smell inside as it waifts in through the ceiling vent. My southwind has the vent located about 8" from the ceiling vent. Great design.

I turn the pump on and off a few times with the city water turned on. That seems to purge the air out of the pump. The fill valve he is talking about is used to fill the fresh water tank from the city source. If the fill valve is in the "fill" position the pump will cycle just like it has air in the lines.

Praise for Roadmaster Service
Today I took my 5 yr old Falcon II towbar, with more than 60k miles of towing,to the Roadmaster factory. An hour later I walked out with the towbar completely rebuilt, with many new parts and upgrades. At no cost. Super friendly shop foreman Jerry made me feel welcome and did a great job. Truely a great company. Service like this is a rarity. Marv

RE: Generator fuel line
Mine had a 6' piece of hose attached to copper tube along the frame rail so I didn't have to drop the tank. You need to get under and see if the hose is attached to the tank. Perhaps a light and mirror will show you what needs to be done. It's possible you could cut through the floor and reach the tank top from there, depending upon your coach configuration. Good luck.

W-22 Fan Shroud Bolt
W-22 owners may want to go to irv2.com workhorse chassis forum and take a look at the post concerning a missing w-22 fan blade. When I checked mine there was less than 1/8" between the shroud and the fan blades and the shroud was out of one of the retaining clips. The poster also put some pictures of the damage.
